WOODWARD DRAKE CAMPUS RENOVATION

The Woodward Drake Corporate Campus serves as a design-to-manufacturing concept development site. The full renovation of the campus was designed around the concept of a seamless and transparent integration between design and manufacturing.

Woodward is an independent designer, manufacturer, and service provider of control solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets. The Drake facility remodel includes the re-purposing of the production floor for industrial processes for the management of fuel, air, fluids, gases, electricity, and motion. The introduction of a daylight infused “main street” between the production and engineering/design departments creates a transparent integration of departments throughout the facility. The engineering/design offices are designed in a collaborative, open office environment with flexible meeting spaces and integrated technology throughout.
