Senior Project Manager

My name is Suzanne, and I often describe my role as an air traffic controller—bringing order to complexity so projects move forward smoothly and predictably. I’m skilled at uniting design, consultant, and client teams around a shared purpose, translating complex challenges into collective achievements through collaboration, clarity, and trust.

From kickoff through closeout, I advocate for the client at every step and serve as a steward of your vision—protecting goals, budget, schedule, and risk while keeping communication proactive and decisions well documented. The result is a process that feels organized, transparent, and aligned to what matters most to you.

My Why

I came to MOA Casper from the DC/Annapolis area after a phone interview with Brandon, who invited me to Casper for an in-person interview. I arrived to snow in May—completely unprepared—and had to borrow a jacket from the hotel staff. It was a small moment, but a memorable introduction to Wyoming and to MOA.

One of the most meaningful parts of the visit was lunch with his client, Anna Kinder. That conversation stood out to me—not just because of the work being discussed, but because of the genuine sense of trust and collaboration. Four days later, I was offered the job.

My husband had never been to Casper, but we packed up “the Conestoga wagon,” gave our keys to a realtor, and headed west. As a Navy “brat” and Navy spouse, I’ve lived all over the U.S. and abroad, moved more than 20 times, and never had one place for long. But MOA felt different. For the first time, I felt like I might actually put down roots.

What’s kept me at MOA is the people and the culture. MOA shows up for its staff—checking in, offering support, and making sure resources are there when needed. I experienced that firsthand during an unexpected health “speed bump,” when the support was steady and genuine.

The principals set the tone. They are authentic, communicative, and deeply invested in their people and their work. It’s a culture built on respect, collaboration, and pride in what we create together—and that’s why I stay.

Favorite MOA Project

Gillette Enzi will be a spectacular boost for both the city and the students attending the college. The client is highly engaged and enthusiastic about advancing the college and its programs to better serve the community. I value the strong partnerships they have established—and continue to build—to support workforce development and strengthen opportunities for Gillette and the state of Wyoming.
